So, you want to know a little more about me?
Well, let me first introduce myself.

As you already know, my name is Daphne. I am a firm, young and non-smoking lady, born on the 16th of June 1983 in Veldhoven (the Netherlands). As a child i was very creative and just loved to sing, draw and paint. My current hobbies are not very different from these three things. I still love singing, drawing and painting. But i added horse riding, swimming, acting and modelling to my little list.

At school I was always a great scholar. Mainly because of the many great teachers i had at highschool. Good teachers are a key to a succesfull youth and that is the reason why I now study at the Fontys Teachers School to become a teacher myself. A biology teacher in fact.

But how did i get involved in modelling? Well,some time ago a friend of mine told me that I should enter myself into an Internet-Modelling Contest. There, they started out with about fifty girls and in the end i made it to the last five. After the contest I started to receive some e-mails from photographers who wanted to work with me. At first I had some hasitations because after all, I did not fullfill the expectations of a fashionmodel; I am a Plus-sized model. But the idea that I have the power to make other (bigger) women feel really good about themselves made me very enthousiastic and I started to build my own portfolio and made a website.

My very first photoshoot was in June 2001. At this moment I’ve done more then 50 photoshoots for various photographers and artist. Commercial and non-commercial. Including painting, sculpture and bodypainting.

I hope to be able to do many more photoshoots and other assignments in the next few years as a Semi professional Plus size model.
